Before
Many appliances and installations are controlled manually and use unnecessary standby power.
After
By integrating IoT devices with relay control and combining this with automation and rule management of operating times with on/off and calendar, idle consumption and unnecessary energy consumption could be avoided, without compromising on operation and comfort.
Outcome
The effect was an energy saving of 5 030 kWh/year in electricity consumption.
The project’s payback period: approx. 10 months.
Office and production – identification of energy waste on floodlights
Before
No overview or insight into energy consumption. Manual handling of energy consumption, but attention to energy-efficient behaviour.
After
Integration of main electricity meter data from Energinet and subsequent analysis of consumption in Seluxit EMS. Through analysis and identification of consumption patterns, energy waste for projectors could be avoided outside of the period of use.
Outcome
The effect was an energy saving of 3 504 kWh/year in electricity consumption.
